ROA 0.7.4 beta is on the way, featuring weight maps!

Long time no see. Been pretty busy, not really anything special, just life, the kid, the family, work, doing tax and that kind of boring stuff, you know.
But that's done for now and I'm about to release the first beta of 0.7.4. After the last version was mostly about cloning to curves, points etc., 0.7.4 will be all about weight maps support. As always I try to bring the new feature together with as many exisiting features as possible.
When? Likely tomorrow.

After some days of more testing 0.7.3 is now released!
New in this version:
- Clone to points
- Clone to curves using the curves modifier
- Cumulate scale
- Bounding box dimensions preview for the realtime mode
- Interface cleanup

Also Blender Proxy version 0.3.0 was released with some small, but usefull updates. Documentation for Blender Proxy has been added here (in the middle):

Gave my updated Blender Proxy a little test drive this morning. The UFO is a typical "lazy" object, in consists of 2 million polygons and a displacement texture. That's right, there are 3.500 x 2 mio poylgons in this scene, the exchange with Blender Proxy is still super smooth.
I rendered it in 4k (zoom in!) and had a little fun with it. All postpro on the rendering is mostly standard, all made inside Blender + using Blenders Film FX.  The frame and fonting was made with Inkscape.

Blender Proxy is an open source addon I'm currently developing that helps to instanciate high to low poly objects for a much better workflow in the viewport.

ROA-support version for 9.99$:*
This is the identical version as on, but it doesn't support Blender's development fund. If you're interested in supporting CG-Cookie (I bet you watched a lot of usefull tutorials of them) and Blender (do I really have to say anything?), consider investing couple dollars more and buy on CGC.

Due to the new EU VAT regulations, sadly EU customers can't buy on sellfy, as sellfy doesn't handle the process like CGC does. Sorry about that.**(check bottom of text)

Why this version?
I understand that not every Blender user is able to buy at the full price, not because he/she doesn't want to, but because he/she can't.

ROA 0.6.0 Open Source version (GPL):
Hey guys! Long time no see. I'm sorry but my mild cold that I've been carrying throughout the whole winter has finally knocked me out. But this also gives me some time for this:

I'm proud to release Random Object Array 0.6.0 as open source version. Lookin in the review mirror, this early version of the add-on seems extremly simple, but I think some people may have a use for it. Also people that may not be able to buy the add-on but are willing to invest more time creating something may benefit from this release, as well as people looking for something as simple as the array modifier, but want to create instances. Finally, of course everyone is free to continue developing ROA as open source version and add more features.

Just some quick Q&A:
- Will there be another release as open source version?
No. All time combined, for coding, creating documentation and videos, answering to support messages, fixing bugs etc. I've spent countless hours. Please understand that I can't offer this level of coding/support for free, I have a family to feed and life in Germany isn't particulary cheap.
- Where are the docs?
There are non, same reason as above.
- Will there be bug fixes?
Hate to repeat myself, but no.
- Will you make more add-ons as open source?
"Not really, maybe, it's classified." Let me add: Likely ;)
